Our Salon’s History
Lombardo’s Barber Salon, Inc. started in Erie, PA, all the way back in 1975. Our business is built on the nostalgic principle that the relationship we have with our customers is the most important thing we have to offer, followed closely by our outstanding haircuts. It is our sincere honor to grow alongside you and your family. Our desire is to create a relationship with you that will last a lifetime. We have kept that tradition at the heart of our mission all these years, and it has become our driving force and our guiding principle.

More Than a Haircut
“My father’s relationship with his customers has always been the key to his success. Best example, he would know who had fallen on hard times due to plant closings and/or cut backs.He made it his business to know which customers were spending time in a nursing home or hospital, or just could not make the trip to the shop. Often, he would take his blue mobile barber kit and ask me to join him. We would drive to various houses, hospitals and nursing homes and cut people’s hair. I would clean and do whatever else my father needed me to do. He would offer haircuts to the entire family — and most importantly, for free. That is right, free! Regardless of the tough circumstances, my father would bring them the same energy and enthusiasm, just like he was in his shop. He would laugh and joke, and pick up the conversation they were having from the last time he visited. Even as a child, I saw customers embrace my father with genuine love and thankfulness for his visit. He would give them the chance to live a bit happier — even if just for an hour.”
